While it's conveniently located near OR Tambo airport, I did encounter challenges locating the property, with GPS inconsistencies leading to a significant detour. The value proposition here caters primarily to budget-conscious travelers. The room I was first assigned lacked essential ventilation, but upon request, I was reassigned to a more comfortable external room with a decent bed and basic amenities. The absence of air conditioning was notable given the winter cold. the hot water supply in the morning was limited. For those seeking minimalistic lodging, Ecotel provides necessary conveniences including a shared kitchen and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The outdoor swimming pool could also be a draw, especially in warmer months. If you're looking for basic accommodation, the Ecotel can meet your needs, though guests should manage their expectations regarding luxury in favor of practicality and affordability.
